Sad to see this. Former Cubbie Jon Leiber will probably miss the rest of the year with a ruptured tendon in his foot. There is a chance that surgery can repair it and he can be back in late Sept., but it doesnt look good.

 

The Phils have already said Myers is still not going to be moved back to the rotation. They are debating J.A. Happ or Carlos Carrasco to take the spot in the rotation, but look to make a move for some good SP.

i will always be a jon lieber fan. He pitched great in one of the two games I've ever seen at Wrigley (8-7 win over the Pads in 2002).
