Hendry was just on the Score a few minutes ago and North mentioned JJones to him. Hendry made it seem that him and his assistant are working on some things and then mentioned how a move will need to be made by tonight for the bullpen. Dempster on DL is a possibility but he did say he will give him a couple days to see how he responds before he goes on the DL so that being said, I think there's a good chance Jones is finally out of here and hopefully by tonight.

Yup-with Lou's insistence that Pie will not be sent down, that only leaves Pagan and Jones, and with his versatility I'm sure management doesn't want to see Pagan down for 10 days at least.

seriously, even if it's just to DFA him, please get it done. there are too many roster spots being wasted right now, and he is one of them.

The team had previously said Alou had just a sore left quad. He will remain completely shutdown until at least after a visit with a team doctor next Monday.

Milledge is also supposed to be coming back soon from injury. If the Mets trade for Jacque it would be foolish but who cares as long as he is out of our hair.

He did score a fairly important run last night...I know...he did nothing to actually get on...but I do have to say he served a purpose last night.
