Lee was supposed to DH today with Ward at 1st. Maybe Ward is slightly hurt, and rather than change his plans for Lee DH'ing Piniella just stuck Floyd at 1st instead.

For those wondering, Cliff started his career at 1B and has played 116 games at 1st in his career. The scary thing is, he hasn't played a regular season game there since 1997, so its been 10 years.

So am I. I heard on the radio that Floyd would start at 1B but Ward is listed on MLB.TV Mosaic. I just listened to the Lou Piniella Show and Santo forgot to ask Lou about the lineup. :lol: I guess we'll find out soon enough...
