I watched every minute of the suckage today. It's like watching a high school team play. I actually don't understand how they can play so terribly. I don't expect to watch a major league team make the crappy mistakes day in and day out like this stupid team does. I'm just hoping they give up on the rest of the season and keep losing so we can get the #1 pick next year. We need to restock the minors after Hendry's pretty much cleaned them out.

I have to disagree with you Soccer, Howry screwed that play up. If he gets rid of the ball to Izturis, the worst that happens is that Lofton turns to third and the rundown continues. By trying to chase him (venturing to say that Lofton would beat Howry on crutches), Howry pretty much sealed his fate on the play.

 

I have no idea in the freaking world why Lee and Ramirez took less money to stay here. Poor guys.

Man, I saw up until the 7th inning when I had to go to work....talk about frustration. Lilly looks like total crap for the first 2 innings and then manages to lock it down for the next 5? What the hell, Ted? 10 strikeouts and only 1 walk is nice, but those 5 runs early sure don't help. That said, you can hardly slot this one all on him since the Cubs leave 13 freaking guys stranded on base.
