i was a big brian sabean fan, but i'm starting to think that a lot of their past success was due to barry bonds and a fair amount of luck. That team has just been old and mediocre the past three years.

Understand this; I have friends and family members who are Sox fans. I've been inundated with nonsense about that team... They predicted greatness again this year even though conventional wisdom was against the team.

 

The comment I made earlier about their poll stands. If AJ were traded, you wouldn't have a poll during a Cubs game to solicit feelings about their players.
