I think they are turning the corner IMO. As long as Izturis and Jones don't play and ARam comes back soon we will be fine. Our bullpen has been much better as of late.

I think they are turning the corner IMO. As long as Izturis and Jones don't play and ARam comes back soon we will be fine. Our bullpen has been much better as of late.

 

I'm leaning toward turning the corner. The offense has hit a bit of a lull, but at least they are scoring 3-4 runs with regularity, instead of a lot of 0, 1 and 2 run games. If they can win this series, I like their chances of gaining ground by the time Milwaukee comes to town. They could just as quickly turn around the wrong corner, but with Milwaukee failing to step on the Cubs throat a couple weeks ago, they are definitely in it.

Well, I hope you're right considering I'm going to a the games in DC (July2, 4th & 5th)

 

I am going to the game on the 3rd in DC!! Yippee. I really think they a re turning the corner and it might be time for some of you to start giving Lou some credit--the guys that are helping turn this season around would never have played under Dusty.

 

Well, I am off to see the Iowa Cubs now tonight. I am excited to go watch Patterson play.
