this looks like it might be working . . .

So the TBA's are keeping up in real time now? Cool.

If so, James Shields outing was magnanimus. After the 1st inning, he had a score of -11. I had to conduct a business meeting, I come back to check on his outing and he's sitting at 30.25. How does a guy throw 25 pitches in the first inning and only 80 over the next 8?

Life is good.

No more overnight deductions?

So Hurdle left Hirsh in to give up 5 runs before pulling him at 102 pitches? I guess he really wanted to save a player since he was due up 2nd the next AB. Sheesh.

Wow. 47 point offensive day (thanks to 5 HRs/8 RBIs from Uggla, Byrnes and Grady), and I'm gonna need every bit of it. Quakers working on 14 innings of 5-hit, shutout baseball from Derek Lowe and Gil Meche. Add in a 2 1/3 hitless outing from a reliever and I got a 73-point night pitched against me.

Looks like I'm gonna be down 30+ with a 1 start advantage.

looks like that is the case Brian. The only thing I am worried about is pitchers from the early games - we need to make sure those are correct.

Have I mentioned lately that this live scoring program kicks ass.

no, but its nice to see a non-complaint. I agree, realtime scoring is nice! Not sure why I didn't think of that sooner.

I haven't checked it out yet but this will be cool. I'd always try to calculate the TBA deductions during the games and this will be so much easier.

The only pitcher I had from an early game today was Wickman, and he had a perfect inning, so there shouldn't be any problems there.

This is nice. I haven't been in the lead in weeks. :D My team seems to play better against tougher competition.

Refreshing my memory, if a guy comes off the DL in the middle of the week, can he be replace someone in the line up right away?

Down 4 starts to 3 and will lose points from Vargas tonight. Somehow I couldn't get Vargas listed as a SP, despite the fact it was before the deadline. Hopefully it's a sign he's getting shelled tonight.

oh, no you didn't.

fielder waits until the fourth inning to hit his nightly homerun. that's borderline unacceptable.

You're going to regret not trading me Fielder when you had the chance.

yeah, i'm kicking myself.

man, tim's closers get three saves with their teams nursing 4-5 run leads, and cordero has a chance to get one and the nats pile on five runs before he can get in. oh well, his one inning still got me a lot more points than verlander got tim.

Hey Juan......

What happened to the live TBA updates? It looks like it went bye bye.

it looks like it may be taking points away for hr's, but not singles, doubles, triples.

They show up in my score w/ Arroyo. He's at -17.5 pts and all the TBA are posted.

When I checked in an hour ago, TBAs were working for CC Sabathia's start but now they aren't. Very strange.
