That might actually make Steinbrenner's life easier, since reportedly Cashman's job is in jeopardy anyway. :D

Also it peeves me when people say "We should get this player, he kicks ass in Wrigley" when the stadium has little to do with that fact that these players dominate our pitching staff, not our ballpark

Carlos Lee? Politely, you have got to be kidding me. That's all the cubs need is another 100 million dollar bumbling outfielder. Pie is hitting .406 at AAA...he's a little cheaper and a lot more fun to watch.

 

I was thinking, with Cotts being groomed as a started, that big Z will be going someplace...and the Yankees seem to be the place...

 

Hendry, for all his faults, can trade well if he puts his mind to it. And yes, I know he sucks too...

I dont think he was saying the Cubs should have went after Lee. I think it had to do with the players who tear up at Wrigley only to come here and suck philosophy.
