From Olney's blog at ESPN.com:

A lot of Cubs were stranded on Monday, and Lou Piniella is looking for answers, writes Dave Van Dyck. Piniella is not contemplating changes in the bullpen, because, as he calmly pointed out, there are not a lot of changes to make.

Within this notebook, there is word from Jim Hendry that he's allowed to add payroll before the July 31 trade deadline. And if you're Carlos Zambrano and still waiting for your contract to be finished, maybe you take that with a grain of salt. There is word within the same notebook that Wade Miller's time with the Cubs may be over.

Similar sentiments from the Daily Herald.

Why is this such a talked about issue? The Cubs and Marlins both left 10 runners on yesterday. The Marlins had 2 doubles and a homerun, the Cubs had no extra base hits. FLA had one extra baserunner along with those 5 extra total bases. The Cubs did nothing until the 9th inning, when they had 4 of their 8 singles, but it was too little too late. Lots of stories are focusing on the LOB, but 10 stranded is nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, neither is 8 scoreless innings by the offense and bullpen struggles.

When you can't get to a pitcher like B Kim, there is a problem.

No way Miller gets cut, Hendry never admits his mistakes.

that one is possible, because it was taking a flier on a guy with an injury history. People won't really blame Hendry for that not working out. Eyre on the other hand...

Yea because cutting Miller and his low ass contract is the exact same thing as Hendry cutting Eyre and his contract.
