When I saw Thome PHing(even more so when I realized Erstad was next) I thought this might be a good time to end Z's day at 100whatever pitches and let Ohman finish the inning.

I am not the rah rah type of guy, and I generally feel nothing but hatred when the cubs lose but a couple things about this game.. just my opinion.

 

1. Masset looks really good regardless of the fact it was against us.. the crap sox should keep him in rotation.

2. Zambrano looked solid until his unraveling, and it was all mental... He should have gone after thome.

3. Cotts will be fine.

4. A.J. Pierzynski is so vastly underrated... not in chicago of course.

5. It sucks we lost/will lose, but 2 outta 3 against the sox, after the horrible series against the Mets is very encouraging. That series could have ended the season(unless you think the season is already over).

one thing that does piss me off is Soriano's defense... if you are hurt then take the day off... god knows we have back ups.... he was playing way to deep on erstad. if he is healthy he would have played more shallow...
