This year, two young, rising superstar secondbasemen have drawn the eyes of fans...

Both Ian Kinsler and Howie Kendrick are kickin' tail on their teams.....

Neither guy is a rookie.

Why is everyone so sold on Kendrick?

Very good minor league numbers. .361/.405/.570. I'm not a huge fan of batting average, but a .361 career average in the minors is ridiculous.

Yeah, we hate to burst your bubble, but neither are rookies. You could substitute "young, rising superstar secondbasemen" instead.

I've liked Kinsler for awhile. I expected a 20/20 season with an average around 275-280. So far, he's exceeded my expectations.

Likewise. I think Kendrick ends up with better AVG/OBP, while Kinsler ends up with better production value in the HR/RBI department. I think they will each have anywhere between 15-25SB.

It's a wash. I actually had to drop Kendrick from my team to pick up Ian Snell. If only I could see into the future and see that Tulowitzki was going to suck so bad I would've swapped him out instead of Kendrick
