I think its clear who is the best reliever, at least until his arm dies, but who is the worst? Who is the worst per dollar?

I actually think Ohman has been kind of unlucky so I am going to go with Eyre. Its so close with Eyre, Howry, and Cotts though.

it goes in order from most expensive to least. or at least it will by the all-star break.

I was going to say his callup ruins your ordering. Also cotts sucks.

I think Eyre is the worst hands down. Cotts has been great so far, but I don't expect it to last. I don't think Cherry should be judged on one game. It was his major league debut, which can make anyone nervous, and I thought he looked good except for the home run. It's not his fault he was thrown into the fire without getting his feet wet first.

i don't think he should be judged on nine spring innings either.

Agreed. He shouldn't be either declared to be the second coming or villified. The jury is still out.

the scariest thing is that the cubs are in last place and the second worst team in the NL while hill, lilly AND marquis have been some of the best pitchers in the league. imagine what it could be like when one, two, or, most likely, all three come back to reality.

Eyre was the worst last year, IMO. Especially if you believe the excuse that Dempster struggled because of lack of regular use. Eyre's BAA, BB rate, and WHIP were horrible last year. He is the worst this year too.
