14 TBA for Dontrelle. Should have a 30 point lead going into the final day with 2 starts to 1. A big offensive day and 2 good starts and I could not only get a huge win, but become the league's highest scoring team.

I lead Vance by over 35 points, with one start remaining for each of us. I don't think that even the almighty Kent can save him. :D

I'll be joining you at 2-2 and ahead on total points, even though you edged me out in our matchup. Luckily you caught me during my worst week of the season so far (only five starts due to injury and weather). Who woulda thunk it based on the last two years?

 

Interestingly, the team with the highest point total in the league this week going into Sunday is the team I crushed by over 100 points last week. Looks like I lit a fire under them.

 

It's fun actually being competitive for a change. :D

I'm back from a long trip. Good to see my team hasn't completely gone in the toilet while I was gone. I did replace a few guys for this last day of games for the week. Gagne is on the DL, so I picked up Renyel Pinto. Is this allowed? I keep forgetting whether this is allowed.

 

I also put Milton Bradley on my DL and put reserve Jose Guillen in his place.

 

If Pinto isn't allowed, I do have a guy in my minors that is currently pitching relief that I can put in his place.

Making a move to replace an injured player has always been allowed. I think you're fine with adding Pinto.

Is Guzman going to replace Miller soon?

Has Theriot replaced Izturis at SS?

Ugh, not getting Harden back for at least another week. Fortunately I had Haren throw two starts this week. Looks like I'll have to trust Duke and get him back in the rotation.

Me: Moyer pitching a no-hitter after 6 innings. Vance: Maholm stinking up the joint and only lasting 4 innings. With the lead I already have this should easily seal the deal. In fact, I've at least temporarily regained the high score for the week in the entire league (Moyer could ensure it stays that way if the current trend continues :D ).

Another nice outing by Okajima (2 IP, 1 H, 4K). Certainly helps considering I don't have a closer.

All of my position players got in double figures this week except Atkins, which is really saying something. Barfield and Furcal have been nothing short of pitiful and it's nice to see them coming around. It's a big if, but I like how my team looks if the pitching comes together.
