Congrats. With the way the Sox offense has been thats really the only way you can assure yourself a win.

Congrats to Sammy for breaking it up.

The last time a White Sock pitched a no hitter, Sosa was on their team. So I guess he's been involved in the last two White Sox no hitters.

PS its hilarious that he would manage a walk, and then get picked off.

Like I said in the game thread, I can't wait until he's wearing a Cardinals uniform next year and shutting down the Cubs 5-6 times per year.

Did anyone see this game? I just saw the last out, but my friend (a big Rangers fan) said that there was a bad call, that Hairston (I think it was), was actually safe at first, as the replay showed, but he was called out. I didn't see the game, but I'd like to see that to know if this fan's claim has any validity!

Hairston was out sliding in to first base. Had he stayed up and ran throught the bad that play would've been a lot closer.

He really needs to be broken of that habit. The only reason to slide into first would be if the first baseman is off the bag and you're trying to avoid a tag by going low. There's no reason not to run through the bag when a force-out is the possibility.
