Looks like this one is coming fown to Sunday Night Baseball. Tim has Abreu & Rivera & I'll have Youkilis.

My pitchers have given up more hits than yours, but I haven't checked how many tba. I'm going to guess I'm down by at least 10 going into tonight's action.

Biggest difference in scoring might be the bullpens.

I'm totally new on this so I don't know exactly how to count that up. I know that you've got 19 H/BB (counting a HB) and I'm at 15 H/BB.

Either way, it's close. Win or lose this week, I'm happy where my team is going. They've doubled their points from last week.

nothing like losing with 320+ points.

i also like that two cubs killed me with huge days today, yet it didn't help them win.

:)

Quite a number of teams had big weeks.

Me and HBC is a great one. My offense went home early with just 8.5 points today, being outscored by Edgar Renteria alone. HBC's 3 starts were all in the 9-12 point range, but he got a decent offensive day, putting him up by (my count) less than 2 points. Jason Giambi vs. Julio Lugo tonight to decide it.

Not looking good for me despite a 90+ point league coming into the final day.

I think this is only about the third 300+ point week I've had since I've been in the league (I should still be over 300 after deductions, since I only had relievers going today). I'm also positive this is my biggest margin of victory ever (over 120 points at the moment).

I generally look at it as though I'm trying to score 300 every week. If I get outscored, I can't really worry too much about it.

Just gotta, you know, tip your cap and move on. :D

Yeah! Well, a little one, anyway. Two points is two points. Now, if the score would just stay 2-0 and have Mo get the save, I might be okay...

i think i may have pulled this one off. all three of my games have come down to the sunday night game. ortiz did me in week 1, martin won it for me in week 2, and i think drew and papelbon won it for me this week.

nothing like getting 60 points from the pen...

Ok.. the front page has me winning 322-309.... What the heck is going on????

the standings have it right. and if you click on live scoring it has me winning by 10 or so.

I don't see how it's wrong on the front page?? Something isn't right. I was up 8 points or so before I went to bed last night... how did I lose after you should have lost a [expletive] of points for Smoltz horrid outing?

JD Drew hit a home run

Papelbon shut down the yanks to get the save

I'm confused. Why are hte scores different on the live scoring and front page after the close of the week? FWIW the scrolling schedule at the top of the page has the week 5 matchups, not week 4.

fortunately for me, the week doesn't end when you go to bed. :D

drew had a double, hr, sb and some other stuff and papelbon got the save + a strikeout. tight, high-scoring game...my third nail biter in a row.

I'm glad I went to bed when I did. 12 innings of Tigers/White Sox and 8 hours of drinking makes for an early bedtime! Got to see a good game though!

Great week of games. Lots of high scores. Lots of close games. Makes for a fun season if this keeps up.

[expletive]!!

It sounds like someone is not a happy camper :sunny:

you know, just because we don't stop swearing doesn't mean we need to see it in every post.
