I think some pitcher should just do everybody a favor and throw at Bonds injuring him to the point he can't play baseball any more. Just peg him right in that bad knee, make it explode beyond repair and the whole thing goes away. Maybe not the most PC solution, but I think one most people would be OK with.

I'm sure if the Maris family knew then what they know now, they would have passed on the celebration/charade that accompanied McGwire's 62nd homer.

did i miss the positive steroids test on mcgwire?

I'm pretty sure he admitted he took illegal substances that, at the time, were not specifically against the rules in MLB.

I think I read somewhere that they have come out in support of him.

Hank Aaron was kind of surly back in the 70s. I wonder if he played now how many people would suspect him. He hit a lot of HRs late in his career.

As for Bonds breaking the record, I cant wait. Let the hypocrasy machine start. No one was complaining back in 98 when Sosa and McGwire were "saving" baseball. For those who say they didnt know, I say you were just being naive. Or that you did suspect but didnt want to admit it because Sammy and Mac were likeable guys, unlike the big Ass Bonds. Everyone turns a blind eye when a player on their favorite team is an obvious user. I just read alot of crap about Bonds on a Tigers board but funny didnt read a thing about Sheffield. I am willing to bet a paycheck that there are players on the Cubs using right now. If all of us were Giants fans we would be singing a different tuneLastly its just a individual record. Aaron, Ruth, Mays and Frank Robinson(the past top 4) all won WS. I am sure they wouldnt trade those for any HR record.

I have said it before and will always say it. Until games are actually forfeited for players using banned substances they will always be users. Until owners, GMs, Managers and fans feel the pain for a player using they will endorse the fact that the player uses.

On April 11, 2004, the United States Food and Drug Administration banned the sale of Andro, citing that the drug poses significant health risks commonly associated with steroids.

No, Androstenedione was banned under the pro-hormones ban that was enacted on January 20, 2005.

No wonder Big Mac has been staying out of the public eye for so long....

Because androstenedione is converted in part to estrogens, persons taking this supplement may have estrogenic side effects. A visible problem could be gynecomastia (formation of breast tissue) in males.

Gynecomastia usually won't make you actually grow breasts, it will just make your nipples appear puffy all of the time.

Do a Google image search on gynecomastia... looks like more than just puffy nips to me!

Haha! McGwire has huge puffy nipples now, but they're not man puffy nipples.

You're crackin' me up, Bob!

This is somehow making me want a puffy taco, though! [an actual food here in SATX]

A few of the pictures that I found on there were actually of women, but most of the pictures seemed more like extreme cases. I've known several people that have had it that weren't nearly that severe.

That would be "Henry The Puffy Taco", mascot of the San Antonio Missions (Seattle's AA club).

I did a GIS for "puffy taco", and I was really surprised at the results (even with the filter off). Need to get my mind out of the gutter, I guess.
