It took me 80 minutes to get out of the parking lot at Miller Park once. It was terrible.

Walking to the el and getting on the platform only takes a few minutes.

i never got into the parking lot at Miller Park, as there isn't enough parking for a sold out game. I had to park 1 1/2 miles away and walk. I got there mid 3rd inning

I'm a big fan of the park and ride the bus from Devry. For those of us that come from out of town and are already driving, it's a great option. And it's relatively close to the interstate, so you don't have to deal with too much Wrigleyville traffic...the bus does that for you.

In my opinion it is worth it for the awesome tailgating. I went to several games last year without tickets and had an absolute blast.

The DeVry deal is the epitome of convenient, but you can't do it for weekday games, so that kind of sucks.

Sometimes when I don't want to hang around and bar hop after games I will just drive and park in one of the numerous lots in the neighborhood, and if you are with a few people the price isn't really that bad.

Also I have parked in Oak Park on a side street near the green line (not sure about the legality of that, but I have never been ticketed) taken the train downtown, hopped on either the brown of the red and that worked out rather well.

The bottom line is that getting to the park isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world, but there are plenty of options.

Unbelievable. I lived in Oak Park for two years (with legal parkingpasses) and still got tickets all the time. If I knew how many hours I spent at the Oak Park parking office refuting tickets....
