Boring day for SP

It's been a couple days since opening day now.

But, Alburquerque is the most interesting.

True, but Marshall, Mateo, Samardzija, Veal, Ceda, Atkins, and probably others I'm missing are interesting beyond the opening day guys.

Yeah, I hear you. (Atkins was an opening day starter.) The whole Peoria rotation is interesting.

I have tickets to the RR/Iowa game. They're behind home plate, 20 rows up.

Weather forcast: 36 degrees, 80% chance of rain, sleet possible.

Damn the luck.

Where at in Austin do you live? The Express will be playing the I-Cubs next time I'm down there, but unfortunately the series will be in Iowa :(

Heh, what are the odds that the two games in Florida aren't postponed due to precipitation?

IowaCubs.com[/url]"]Saturday's Pacific Coast League game between the Iowa Cubs and Round Rock Express was postponed due to inclement weather at the Dell Diamond.

The Express had never previously had to postpone a game at the stadium in 524 contests.

"We didn't want to prolong the inevitable for our fans, our players or our staff," Round Rock president Jay Miller said. "It's been a great run avoiding the rain and weather all of these years, but we have to look out for the best interests of everyone involved."

The game will be made up Sunday as part of a doubleheader, starting at 3:05 p.m. ET.

Tennessee has cut the deficit down to 4-2 now. Craig doubled, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a Cates sac fly in the 2nd.

Daytona is now down 3-2 after 3.

Berg's final line in his AA debut isn't pretty: 1 IP, 4 ER, 2 H, 1 K, 3 BB.

Any clue what his pitch count was? That line isn't pretty, but it isn't to the point that he couldn't turn it around either.

No, I wasn't at home during his inning pitched - 3 BB and a K does up your pitch count in a hurry, though.

Tennessee has tied the score at 4 in the 3rd. Fox is now 2-2 with 2 doubles.

I'm surprised that the Smokies were able to tie it up. Once Jacksonville scored 4 in the bottom half of the inning, I thought it was over. Fox is having a solid game. Dopirak also has a single as well.

Fox finally broke through with a HR tonight putting Tennessee up 7-6. Jorge Cortes walked infront of Fox and scored on the HR as well.
