If Fox can improve that defense, he's going to be a heck of a player.

He's going to be a heck of a player no matter where he plays. I like the way they're going to play him this year letting him play in the IF and OF. I wouldn't mind having Fox-Pie-Soriano left to right out there. Of course that would crowd things quite a bit because Colvin isn't too far away, and I think Murton is only going to get better but these are problems I'd love to have.

Over/under 3 hours for the first "Trade Barrett, Promote Fox" thread by an uniformed person that happens to see this?

And bonus points if the thread is by someone who has criticized Barrett for his defense.

Jake Muyco breaks the Daytona game wide open with a 3-RBI double. Daytona leads it 10-4 in the bottom of the 8th. Now Matulia with an RBI double and it's now 11-4 Daytona. Now Amador with an RBI single and it's now 12-4 Daytona.

I think a "release Hank White, promote Fox" thread is more likely. :D

Daytona wins it 12-4, the Cubs system goes undefeated for the day.
Including the major league level. This didn't happen very often last year.

I can't wait until Iowa and Peoria can join in to that (Boise and Arizona too but those are pretty far off). I've been so excited for the start of the season that I haven't slept in 3 days.

Even if all the teams were .500, it would only happen once every 32 games (assuming everyone plays everyday, which I know is wrong) or around 5 times a year. It gets even harder when the short season teams get going!

Never mind...only three teams played. Maybe I'm getting tired...

Yeah, it's easier when Iowa and Peoria get postponed. :)

Jake Fox: 4/5, 2 2B, 2 HR => 12 total bases - 2.400 SLG. :shock:

He's a slouch. His SLG goes up to 2.600 if he got a single instead of striking out.
