I thought this might be a good idea, but I'd like some feedback. Is this something you'd like to read and find informative?

 

I probably won't be able to keep this up consistently until the end of May, but I wanted to try it out today.

 

Tell me what you think.

I really, really like it Vance. It puts most of the relevant news into one place, which is something that is really nice to have. If you do decide to do any more of those types of blogs, I will be using it.

 

BTW, I really liked your blog yesterday as well-very fair and balanced.

Thanks for the feedback. I do plan on doing them if the feedback is positive. It takes a little time to compile, but it's easy to write. I'm just not certain I'll have the time to do them when I'm back working on Tuesday. Also, some days there just isn't enough articles out there that make it worth it.

I read it yesterday and enjoyed it. I wish I had more to say but it seemed that the blog seemed to summarize most of the sane thoughts that I've been having. Good work, and don't worry about them not being that frequent until May, I'm sure you'll have plenty of things to talk about then!

Good blog.. it's nice to be able to read about everything in pretty much one place. Im sure my work will be in favor of it as I wont be spending near as much time searching!

Peegs does something like that which I visit almost everyday. It's nice to be able to find several articles from one source.

I like it. It would be better if it was more accessible from the front page.

 

There's a "link to the blogs section" there, but I think each of the latest blogs should be a link to that blog from the front page. Or even put the full blog on the front page.

 

The quality of writers and posters on NSBB is terrific. I think NSBB would get the acclaim and attention it deserves if the front page was spruced up a bit. Our now generation doesn't like to dig. You'd get more viewership and more revenue from advertisements.

 

That said, I like NSBB being the well kept secret it is. As I have limited time to sift through junk posts, I like the fact that 80% of posters are capable of rational coherent thought.
