Daisuke is making his first start. Through four he had given up one walk and one hit while striking out five.

Also, Alex Gordon just got his first major league hit to start off the fifth inning.

6 IP, 6 hits, 1 earned run (DeJesus HR), 8 Ks, 1 BB.

Not a bad ML debut for Matsuzaka.

Marquis was as effective without the sex appeal (8Ks).

Add another inning and 2 more K's to that.

Greinke is having a great game as well. 7 IP, 8 H, 1 BB, 2 R, 1 ER, 7 K

Peralta is in for KC and Matsuzaka should be done as well with 108 pitches.

Im watching the Sox game right now hoping the indians sweep them, Hawk and DJ are going through the scores of other games and DJ goes " The Cubs are Losers..( pauses for 2-3 seconds)..At Cincinatti.. Obviously a lame cheapshot by those bum announcers. That orginization, just like it's fans have no class..

That's Typical Sox crap. I'm watching too and rooting against them mightily. Len and Bob would never say something like that... the Sox organization, top to bottom, is classless.

I like this dig too:

Suntimes

All offseason, Ken Williams talked down

his nose at media and fans, actually lecturing us in his booming Lou Rawls voice to relax, stop hyperventilating and believe in his bizarre pitching-staff manueverings.

When he was roundly doubted anyway, Williams whined to any national reporter who would listen about the mean cusses dogging him in Chicago. ''It's a little difficult to keep swallowing,'' he said of the second-guessing.

Well, swallow this: The starting rotation stinks.

It might help if Ozzie, Kenny and Jerry would just shut up. All these people do is yap, and by comparison, the women on ''The View'' are pleasing to the ears.

In this volatile environment, it's paramount Williams keeps his cool. But he's the one taking the most heat because he's the one who knew it all. How interesting to see Ted Lilly, the $40 million gamble, pitch well Wednesday for the Cubs. What was that about ''madness,'' Chairman Reinsdorf?

Right now, the madness is on the South Side.

Now the Indians are trying to give this game away. Bases loaded, no outs, in the bottom of the ninth.

They did unfortunately, Sox win 4-3.

Yeah, that didn't hit him, and the Indians let two catchable flies drop due to the sun, and Hernandez tossed the ball into CF on a pickoff attempt.

I can't remember for the life of me the last time the Cubs won a game like this.

Think I've only seen a game end on a HBP one other time. Cleveland's bullpen still seems to be pretty bad. Borowski just about blew that game yesterday as well.

Funny moment in the Yanks game. On a 2-2 count with 2 outs, both the pitcher and Posada walked 4-5 steps towards the dugout on the pitch. Only problem was that blue called it a ball and they had to come back.
