The Mets are winning 1-0 in the bottom of the 2nd. I would so love to see the Cards get off to a horrible start. Go Mets!

Speaking of the ladies game...WHAT THE HELL is up with the tri-screen that espn has going on. it's so far beyond annoying...

Well, in fairness-he's a fan of their rival. It's a lot easier to shake off one baseball loss than to hear your rival talk all the next year about their 3 titles in just over a year.

They've got it on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. It's in a different format on each channel. Those non-traditional views are pretty cool for a while, but they do become annoying.

I'm watching exclusively on ESPN.

I've come to expect Opening Day losses. And I wasn't being force fed the Cub loss on every sports channel around either. Everywhere I turn it's how wonderful Florida is.

Quite true my friend, quite true. As the baseball season goes on, the losses will hurt more.

I just flipped over to the Cards/Mets game during halftime of the women's game, realized Joe Buck was announcing and decided I'd just watch this thread instead of putting myself through the torture.

No way you win the title in college basketball and don't deserve it. That's the only good thing I'll say about them though. 8-)
