For what it's worth, the Cubs just announced that Miller is the 5th starter:

Wade Miller has won the fifth starter spot in the Cubs rotation, beating out Mark Prior, whose status is uncertain. Miller was 2-0 with a 3.63 ERA in five spring starts, giving up seven earned runs on 22 hits and four walks over 17 1/3 innings. Prior will make his third start and fourth appearance of Spring Training on Wednesday.

:?: :?:

Thought we knew this yesterday.

Actually, they announced that yesterday, and there's a thread about it in Baseball Discussions.

Helton and Holliday surely did help prior right there.... i wonder how many pitches we will go today?

I wonder if Rockies fans huddle around their computers with bated breath waiting for the bottom of the inning to be updated to see how Cook pitched.

Cook came into this game with 4-0 record and 2.11 ERA this spring. Not bad.

I don't like how it takes so long for Gameday to belch out the results when Prior is on the mound. The Cubs are losing the time of possession battle.

It's all the punter's fault, we need to get better field position.

Gameday's pitch counts are off. They are assuming all contact is made on the first pitch, all strikeouts are happening on 3 pitches and walks on 4 pitches.

And there's a big reason that Prior had no chance to make the Opening Day roster no matter what he did today-he hasn't made it up to a high pitch count yet, and they are not ready to have him get up that high, instead going to let him slowly build up closer to 100. I like the approach-no need to have a setback now.
