Prior is done. 60 pitches, 37 strikes, 2 wild pitches

How was the velocity on his pitches?

There are no radar readings readily available here. We'll have to get the readings later, but he looked appreciably better this time out. His defense let him down, ran up his pitch count and probably cost him an inning of work.

How far away would you guess he is from pitching in the rotation?

2-3 weeks to a month.

Wow, that's better than I thought. Any idea how the Cubs would handle that? I assume Miller would be the odd man out (most likely they will trade him).

At this point, that's one of those "cross that bridge when we come it it" questions.

This is likely very, very bad-at least a couple of runs. It's been a long time since the updates.

One run. That's it

I wish gameday was giving count info, it'd be nice to know how much these guys are or aren't working the count.

Just hit "pitch by pitch".

Too many walks. We get absolutely hammered when we walk people.

The Cubs should be leading 2-1 (3 unearned) instead of trailing 4-2. The errors have been the story thus far.

Just came home.. how did Prior look today? Or at least sound?

He (gameday) looked alright. The Defense was brutal and let him down big time.

No looks or sounds but Bruce says he pitched much better than last time. The defense let him down for 3 unearned runs. The 4th run was charged to Guzman (Wuertz with a scoreless frame).

In other news, Rotoworld reports that Juan Pierre left today's game early. They better hope he's ok b/c he's nothing without his speed.

Juan Pierre exited Wednesday's game after fouling a ball off his lower right leg.

The Dodgers said he could be right back in the lineup on Thursday.

Are you using the old Gameday or the new one? I'm using the new one and I can't find a 'pitch by pitch' option other than the drop down menu on the bottom left where it logs what has happened in the game, and for most hitters, it simply shows (the strikezone graphic) where the pitch they made contact with, and not balls and strikes. What am I missing here?
