Just some positives from this game:

-Lilly looking great. 6 IP, no ER.

-Floyd showing some power.

-DeRosa at 3rd backing up Ramirez >>>>> Jose Macias/Neifi Perez at 3rd backing up Ramirez

-Demp having another good inning.

Wood didn't look too bad today. If not for that hit and run that was executed well, Kerry wouldn't have given up any runs. If the Angels weren't running on that play, that would've been an inning ending double play.

I agree...

 

In other news, Lilly is sporting a 2.75 ERA (best among Cubs starters) and 1.27 WHIP in the Cactus League with 28 GO & 22 AO :shock:

 

He still needs to work on being efficient with his pitches, to get deeper into games, but so far he's been much better than I expected. Hopefully, he can rack up some April victories when it's colder and more difficult for the hitters.
