If Ronny turns into a viable starting shortstop, that might be Lou and Co's greatest accomplishment.

 

I would tend to agree with that, and I think it's possible (although not this year) if they put him in situations where he can be successful and allow him to gain confidence and become more composed at the plate instead of wildly hacking at everything. The errors on routine plays, the wild swings, they were all indicative of a player who had lost all confidence and was trying too hard to do anything to get it back.

I am not a believer of Ronny yet..I was crazy about him last year the first month or two of the season when he was on fire..Then he just completely sucked all after that.

 

He has a ton of potential. It's just consistency that's his problem. I think he's the type of guy who'll really get it together under Lou's staff.
