thrilled that the HR contest is back, and I like the "secret" wildcard rule. I chose prince fielder as my wildcard last year, but felt screwed when everyone saw thome out there and chose him too.

Also, I hate you todd helton.

Also also, when will the predictions contest be announced? I have a title to defend!

EDIT: Also, also, also.........that wildcard in the HR contest is much easier for those who can see the PECOTA projections. I'm not subscribing to BP just for this contest :x

The Predictions Contest will be up later this week. We probably won't have the prizes up until after the season starts.

I can't believe so many people think Oritz will hit more homers than Howard.

I can't believe so many people believe that Howard will hit close to 60 HR a year ;)

When is this going to be posted? I'd like to get in on it, but I'm going to be out of town this weekend.

When I get a chance to post it. There will be at least a week for people to enter.

He finished second to Mark Prior's Calves (at least among the prize-eligible Premium members).

and I won the non-Premium prize (3 months of Premium). But now I'm Premium.

I'll use my first transaction and dump Matsui (group D) & pick up Jimmy Rollins.

So if I'm correct with the rules, you have Rollins starting with 0, and acquire any HRs from tomorrow forward... correct?

correct!
