Me too! I just heard on the radio that the Sox are going with all their starters except Toby Hall at catcher.

Couldn't care less who gets in the game as long as Lou is making sure everyone is prepared for opening day.

Game Notes

 

Derrek Lee leads the club with a .464 batting average (min. 25 AB) and has reached base safely in eight of nine games played this season.

 

Jacque Jones leads the Cubs with nine RBI while Jake Fox, Matt Murton and Aramis Ramirez are tied with the team with two homers apiece.

 

The Cubs scored three runs in three separate innings yesterday vs. Seattle en route to a 9-3 win … Chicago has scored multiple runs in at least one inning in each of their last 11 games.

 

 

The last time the Cubs failed to score multiple runs in at least one inning was March 4 vs. the White Sox in a 13-2 loss.

 

The most runs Chicago has scored in a frame this season is six, done in the first inning March 12 vs. San Francisco in Scottsdale.

 

The Cubs are hitting .345 (141-for-409) over their last 10 games.

 

The Cubs’ .319 spring batting average is third among NL clubs … Milwaukee is first with a .332 batting average and Arizona is second with a .323 mark.

It's quite common for vets not to make long bus rides in ST. I'm surprised to see Lee and Jones made the trip.

Anyone else having audio problems with WGN TV? It sounds like all the audio is coming from AM radio or something. Sounds like everything is really far away.
