After a tough loss in the bottom 9th, the Cubs will have a day off... Hopefully healing Derrek Lee and Henry Blanco.

The Cubs then will then head back home to Mesa, Arizona to face off against the Mariners (split squad). Their other game is against San Francisco at 7:05 PST.. Seems kind of awkward. Did they have a rainout? Is it normal to have night games this early in ST?

So far, I have yet to find any broadcast information on this one. If you have any info, feel free to post and I will edit mine. Like the previous game, this may be available on MLB's GameDay.

And the starting pitchers...

Theodore Roosevelt Lilly

Cha Seung Baek

Yeah. If only this game was on the radio. I'd love to hear Santo attempt to pronounce his name.

Match-ups (Seattle Mariners) Vs. Ted Lilly

Match-ups (Chicago Cubs) Vs. Cha Seung Baek

The Mariners won't be in full force today. Though they also have a day off, their line-up likely wont be as powerful because of the SS. Hopefully their good hitters go to play SF and the Cubs have an MLB-esque line-up...

LETS GO CUBS!

Whats wrong with DLEE and BLANCO?

DLee tweaked his groin a little on a bad slide into 2nd base in Monday's game. They took him out for precautionary reasons. Blanco got hit on the knee while catching in the same game I believe.

Seeing as the temps are getting into the mid-90s during the day in Phoenix already, it's probably a good idea.

I left Los Angeles on Sunday headed for Texas. Very glad to find out that the A/C in my new truck works just fine. I needed it, and I now have a bad cold to show for it. But now, I'm stuck in Omaha.... and the temp is in the low 30's. When is it gonna be spring ???

it has never been that hot when i've been at ST. in fact, i've always wished it was a little warmer...probably won't be the case this year.

i'll be there in four days!

Ill be there starting Monday too. Which games are you going to? I'm going to 3/19 SS against the Brewers in Phoenix, 3/21 against the Rangers at Hohokam, and 3/23 against the A's I believe in Peoria. Btw, its supposed to be in the 70's/lower 80s next week.

I think they do it on purpose. They want you to buy their media products, but they don't actually want you to use it.
