He's a little long winded today but Plesac isn't bad. He took Scott Eyre under his wing when he was a young pitcher... he's told this one before.

For as much money as the Cubs are paying him, Eyre really isn't that good. I'm dying for him to be packaged with someone like Jacque for a snazzy return before people wise up and realize that his flashier numbers aren't necessarily reflective of how average to bad he really is.

This is what I'm going to love this year...even on outs our guys are seeing pitches...Fonzi saw 10 pitches there in that at bat...it was a great at bat no matter what the outcome...I remember entire series where JP didn't see 10 pitches.
