Alright, I'm not even gonna try to keep track of their random guys now. If somebody wants to do play-by-play, feel free. I'm done.

Thanks for doing it.

I'd do it longer if the sleep deprivation weren't about to kill me on its own... but the midterms I had today fried my brain badly enough that trying to figure out who their randoms are is just beyond me at the moment.

At any rate, I enjoyed it for a while. Hope it helped.

Whio's this guy with len?

He was going on about how he thinks a significant part of the last Yankee dynasty was the way they weren't afraid to take a pitch and wait for something good to hit.

So uh, for those of us in Southern Illinois who don't have the pleasure of receiving Comcast SN, what exactly is going on in the game these days?

In the Texas game, end of 7, still 8-5 Texas. Rapada gave up a couple of runners, but managed to get out without a run. Texas has also turned 4 double plays today.

10-3 after what should have been a force out at home has a bad throw/catch. Buck coats just missed a fly ball on the wall, gives up a double (webb pitching)

A double and a single follow that.

with runners on first and second, gets a grounder back to the pitcher, almost gets a double play. Piniella yanks webb.

So he left with 1st and 3rd, 1 out

Epat hits it deep into the hole at shortstop, SS's throw is bad, he probably would have been out had it been caught, but they gave him a hit

The Cubs pick up 2 more runs in the 9th, but lose to Texas 11-9. Here is the box score of that game.

Sosa is hitting 500 this spring. He's made the team for certain. I'm going to enjoy watching him as a Ranger this year.

I definitely agree that he's made the team, and I'll be happy to see him play. I'm happy to see 3 different Cubs starters hitting .500 or better also. Especially since they all were injured last year, and people questioned if they could return to the career year they had right before being hurt (Lee, Barrett, Izturis). The fact that they are hitting so well does suggest that the injuries are healed for the most part-if they were hurt, they probably couldn't have hit this well, ST or not.

I agree. I've always enjoyed watching the Rangers, and they are my 2nd team. This just makes it even better for me.

this story about scott eyre is the most boring thing i've ever heard

why is he talking about record players

why is he still talking at all

why why why

He's a little long winded today but Plesac isn't bad. He took Scott Eyre under his wing when he was a young pitcher... he's told this one before.

He mentioned it about 2389407123857 times last year.

Plesac's an idiot.

Very nice.
