It sounded like he did all right-he gave up a couple of hits and a run in the second, but he also struck out two in 2 innings and only had 1 hard hit out.

How did we score?

 

Cedeno solo home run, Barrett inside the park home run, Perez sac fly, I forget the other run.

 

Barrett with an inside the park home run? Wow. Did the A's bring the outfielders to the infield for that play?

 

No, the ball was hit off the wall and got away from what I heard.

 

I think it was to straightaway CF. CFer took a chance and missed it. The ball bounced off the wall. When you do that in CF, you're screwed.
