The good news today is Samardzjia looked good. Miller did okay. Pie and Cedeno did well. Barrett was fire. But most importantly, the Cubs were aggressive and successful when they were.

Samardizjia topped out at 98 and averaged 97, and broke 2 bats. Not too shabby.

I guess it's needless to say that I've never rooted for a Cubs minor leaguer more.
