The North Siders have spent roughly $300 million this winter. For their efforts and dollars, they are now contenders in the semi-comical NL Central. However, they’re not particularly good. As ever, the season may hinge on Mark Prior’s ability to stay healthy.

I'm actually not sold on the Red Sox being better than the Mets and Tigers. Boston has too many questions right now, but undoubetdly has the potential to be the best team out there.

The Indians that high is kind of silly though.
