Uh, not really. He's not reporting they will get Baldelli, just that they're going after him.

Tough to be wrong on something like that.

Bruce Levine: Hey, Kenny. What's going on?

Kenny Williams: Not much, thinking I'd like to see Rocky Balboa.

Now that's funny. :D

I'm one of those guys that likely overrates him. However, he will only be 25 going into next year, and he's been very successful. His one weakness is OBP. If he improved on that as he enters his prime, he becomes a real nice producer in CF.

I think this is the year that will tell what kind of player Baldelli will become. Even with his power break out last year, his BB% went down. If he is unable to parlay the boost in IsoP to a boost in IsoD, hes never going to be able to take the next step (ie a perenial 900ish OPS player). Although with the defense that he provides a perenial 850ish OPS player in CF aint too shabby.

This is just a rumor, but it's from a guy who's always around on this Bulls board that I'm always on, not a random troll or new guy. Take it for what it's worth, but he says the Sox are going after Tejada offering Fields and a pitching prospect.

Somehow I think it would take much more than that to get Tejeda.

If the O's were smart, Fields and Danks would be a nice starting point for Tejada. It's not like they're going to win in the next 2 seasons in the AL East.

Didn't know you were a Realgm'er, Rammy. Your take on the Posey suspension?

Posey should have been SUSPENDED from a wire, like a pinata and the Bulls should be allowed to take their swings at this wannabe gangsta.

The White Sox are so hard to figure out. They went the Season with Brian Anderson. He improved in the 2nd half. Now they want to replace him. why didnt they do something at the trade deadline? They trade Garcia to make room for McCarthy and than trade McCarthy. I have to admit I dont have the McCarthy bust for my personal HOF yet. I just dont see the reason of trading Garcia for a young arm if they were going to trade McCarthy for young arms.

If Dye comes back to earth and Thome starts to decline I could easily see the White Sox finishing 5th in there division, with or without Rocky Balboa.

Anderson improved to the tune of a .694 OPS. I like Brian, but getting Baldelli would be nice. That being said, I believe they would shift Baldelli to left, keep Brian in CF and move Pods to the bench.

Laughable. Absolutely laughable. I'll save this for October.

Your right. They will still probably finish above the Royals. I dont think its a stretch to say they will finish behind the Tigers, Twins and Indians though. Of course Buerhle can come back to form. Contraras can have another career year and Thome and Dye can both put up over 1 OPS past their primes and the White Sox could win the division. I am more inclined to believe that they will decline a little more this season. They do have a strong young base of talent. It will probably take a couple of years to groom that into winning Major League talent.

Also Levin said that Anderson would be part of any Baldelli deal. I know its Levin but it would make sense.

Yep, i'm "RyGuy24" over there, just became a RealGM about a month ago...

As far as Posey, he's a scumball trashbag, but (I actually might be in the minority here) I think 1 game was about right. I've seen worse flagarants, but it's getting so obvious that all of these blows are intentional I could care less about how many games he's out so long as Big Ben let's him know who the paint belongs to next time he drives on us.

1 game seemed to me the most he would get, essentially. I believe they could have gone 2 games, but he would have appealed, probably, and had it reduced. Posey's flagrant, Riley's whining and Zo's forearm to Big Ben's throat in the 4th will be remembered, I'm sure. I can easily see this rivalry becoming bigger. One more significant incident combined with a possible playoff matchup could land the Bulls on the Christmas Day matchup with the Heat next year.
