Tim, is there any way you could change the markers next to each post to let users know if they've posted in that thread or not? Alot of times I forget which threads I post in and it would help tremendously.

Go to the "view your posts" in the right upper corner. Or don't you like it up there and would rather have it on the threads?

Whenever I click on that, I get the "search is disabled" message. On another forum I post on, the color of the marker in front of the thread title turns from blue to red whenever you've made a post within that thread. It'd be nice to have something similar to that here if at all possible.

Other than the link in this thread, is there any other way to access the blogs? Will the eventually be seen on the front page or should we start a thread about our blog when we write one?

I've found it from the front page-click on articles, and blogs is listed as an option under that.

Oh ok. I looked on the front page, but I didn't notice a link.

I know, I literally spent MINUTES of my life writing my first entry, and dammit, I want people to read it!

Anyone else getting "Search temporarily disabled!" when using Search?

I don't know when it will be officially released. After it is released, I'm going to have to upgrade my version of both php and mysql to support the new board software. So it will take a fair amount of testing before I can go live with the new release.

Is it possible with the new software to get the display of who's in the forums like we used to have? I liked that...had an idea of where everyone was...

The Prosilver skin has the list at the bottom of the page.

allow hottest chick type threads. my god 90% of people are males over the age of 18 AND its quite likely to result in less fighting than other threads that are pure fire.

In the interest of fairness, you would also have to allow the ladies on this site to have their own "hottest stud" type threads without interference of any male, regardless of how sexist their female comments might be.

Chance of all males being able to refrain from that: close to 0%.

Hillary doesn't count as a "stud" no matter how manly she may be.

I've posted this idea before, (Old Thread) but I did not get any feedback from an admin. The idea was that Baseball Discussions should be "Cubs Discussions" or described as "Cubs only" and Rivalries should be changed to "Other MLB Teams." Most forums do this and it works out fine. The biggest reason for this is because Rivalries is pretty much dead. Rivalries is pretty much dead. Changing it to "Other MLB teams" would make for better/simpler organization and a more lively forum.

Yeah, no kidding. Like the other day there was a post about the cards signing someone in Transactions. You know - because it's a transaction. But, wait, shouldn't it go in Rivalries? If you go in rivalries you can find threads about the Redsox..who we have played like 9 times in the last century, or something.

Iunno. It's confusing to me, too.

Exactly. That was another part of the suggestion. Transactions should be all teams... Since they're pretty rare compared to other discussions.
