He gave Guzman one start too many this year. If I understand the rule correctly, a pitcher with ten or more starts in a season is not eligible to be kept on the minor league roster when the keeper rosters are set. Guzman has exactly ten starts, which is one too many based on my interpretation of the rule. :x

So, they still aren't taking walks? I haven't watched a game in over a month. The combination of busy schedule and football has actually been good for my health.

I haven't watched lately either. There are better uses of the free time I have during the week when I'm working, and on weekends I'm watching football rather than baseball. I won't even be watching the season-ending weekend series, as I'll be at a continuing education conference Friday and Saturday and then going to the Carolina Panthers game on Sunday. I may TIVO Sunday's game solely to hear what Len and Bob have to say about looking ahead to next year.

I'll be at the game on Saturday. :thumleft:

This will be the first year since 1975 that I will not see a Cubs game live somewhere. A new streak will start next year - hopefully with a three stadium tour.

This is the first year in a very long time (not sure how long) that I have not stepped foot in a baseball stadium where the Cubs were playing.

this was the first year in a long while that i haven't been to wrigley. still had to go w/ my dad and brother, though, so we went to milwaukee. didn't support the cubs that way.

. . . and you prevented the white sox from winning. I didn't not go as a protest so much as out of circumstance.

That sounds more interesting than a three hour tour. :D

Count me the same since I believe 1993. I feel like I wasted $149 on Extra Innings as well. I'm an addict, so I'll buy in again next year.

HA! I thought I was the only one. Had tickets to a couple games last month here in da burgh, and sold them. I think I went to 1 game last year, but this is the first since 94 that I haven't gone. I think I have watched the fewest games this season since 83. Not having cable most of the season and Fox not airing many this season in my area will do that. Not that I would watch now anyway. I haven't seen a full game since Easter Sunday.

I only went to one game this year.............. a Cub victory over the Cards!

Can anyone say GO BEARS! What a game tonight against Seattle albeit w/out Alexander.

I only went to one game this year (kinda hard for me, but in years past, I'd see the Cubs in Anaheim or SD, even in SF).

Of course the game I did go to, Furcal killed DLee's wrist.

I've been to about 5 other Dodger and Angel games and a couple minor league games (to see Nick Adenhart). Have tix to game 4 of Mets-Dodgers.
