kU showing signs of life, only down 24-16 now to Nebraska.

In other Big 12 scores, Iowa State is tied with Northern Iowa in the 4th quarter, and Baylor leads K-State 17-3 near the end of the 3rd.

Oh, and Texas is throttling Sam Houston State(apparently they have a football team too)

Guess Baylor knows that Kansas State will be better than them in a year or two, so they'd better take advantage of this while they still can.

HAHAHAHA!!!! Nothing gives me more joy than watching MSU losing to a weak Illinois team. I'll say it again, John L. Smith should be coaching a pee-wee team somewhere. He's garbage.

I saw that, LOL.

MSU really is a snakebit program. What a tank job.

Good win for Illinois though. On the road and everything. Maybe that will spark the program a little bit. Right now winning anything more than 3 games would probably give folks a heart attack down there.

USC very nearly gave WSU the ball inside the 20, but they just couldn't revoer it despite a great shot at it.

Did anyone see Michigan pin the Gophers to their own 1 INCH line. The michigan player caught the punt with his foot litterally against the line. There is no possible way that you could get worse field position then Minnesota has now.

Edit: @#)$@#$@ nm, they called it a touchback

USC with a TD drive that puts the nail in the coffin for WSU.

Iowa State gets a last minute TD drive to beat Northern Iowa 28-27.

kU down 5 in Lincoln early in the 4th, and Baylor still leads KSU by 14.

Ole Miss hanging with Georgia in Oxford, scoreless midway through the 2nd.

I hate Buckeyes.

That was an awesome block!

I am THOROUGHLY enjoying this game. All we need is another Drew Tate meltdown for my night to be complete! :D

Washington State is still alive, but they need 6.

The snap nearly gets by the punter. USC dodged a big bullet there, just like they did on the kickoff fumble.

I thought the punter didn't even have a chance at it, that was a bad snap. USC has been lucky today.

Notre Dame's secondary is still lousy - some guy from Purdont has 229 yards receiving

Selwyn Lymon. He's really freaking good - Haden and Hammond talked about how Tiller gave him the #1 after banning it for a long time because he could tell his potential. 80 yards of that was a fluke play that Richardson and Zibby ran into each other on.

Nebraska surrenders the lead but wins in OT, 39-32. Nebraska and Mizzou are the only two North teams that start 1-0 in the conference, and Mizzou is the only Big 12 school still undefeated.

Georgia scores a TD to make it 7-3, Ole Miss threatening with under 9 left in the 3rd

KU loses in OT.

We were, IMO, the better team. It was our 2nd string QB, and he fumbled once on the 3 yrd line and threw an INT in the endzone. All told, he accounted for four crucial TOs. It's a shame, too, because he otherwise played well. It didn;t help our TE dropped TWO TD passes on separate drives.

Really frustrating loss.

There is no doubt who the number one team in the country is. Another awesome performance.

That offense is really amazing. D not playin too shabby either, however, I'm sick of David and Herbstreit saying about how they give up a lot of yards, but force turnovers. Against Michigan, they might not get those opportunities, so they have a lot of maturing to do on D before then.

Garrett Wolfe 40, Ball State 28.

Wolfe had 353 rushing yards on 31 carries.

We gave up 610 yards of offense all told.

The only reason we were even that close is Nate Davis, who after all the hubbub, was outstanding. 27-38, 298 yards, 4 TD and no picks.

If Brady Hoke is a defensive coach (used to be D-coordinator for Michigan), then why the hell does our defense suck so bad every year?
