Greetings one and all from beautiful Murray, KY

I've become aware of a really alarming trend regarding our CUBS. I got in off the road last Friday, and the CUBS lost. I sat home on my butt for a week, and the CUBS lost, and lost, and lost....... But as soon as I leave town, the CUBS win !!! Oh well, it's a dirty thankless job...................

Depressing Cubs factoid of the day:

Final stat note: the Cubs have scored six runs in each of their last five games. That's the first time they've done that since April 15-19, 2003, and they haven't had six straight six-run games since April 22-28, 2000.

Too bad they've only won one of the five in the current six-run streak.

One of the entertaining upsides of this season is the fact that the Wrigley crowd has become decidedly less friendly and cozy with everyone. They've been booing quite a bit more these days.

Man, what the hell? I have EI, and nothing is on. All the games are just listed on all the regional CSN and FSN channels I get, but they all went unavailable as soon as the pre-game ended.
