Stark was talking about the MVP races, and, while pimping Dye, claimed that "every single run driven in by Dye, every single one, has been a meaningful RBI." I'm guessing he was trying to say that Dye's team has been in a race from Day one, while Ortiz's team dropped out a while ago, Jeter's team wrapped it up a while ago, and Hafner's team was out of it long ago. But there's simply no way that every RBI Dye has driven in has "meant something". You're telling me he didn't drive in a run in a blowout? He never drove in a run in a loss?

I heard him say this too. It seems he trying to justify his voting for Jermaine Dye when there are clearly better players, more deserving of winning the MVP.

There are only 3 AL players with a higher OPS, and they are all pretty close to each other. I think he's as deserving as just about anybody else in the AL to be in the discussion.

But then again, the only thing I find less interesting and more annoying than post season award debates, is hall of fame debates.
