Why Les OR Jerome? Les was actually scratched from Friday's start:

Des Moines Register[/url]"]Les Waldrond (10-5) was scheduled to start but was pulled from the lineup at the request of the Chicago Cubs.

Waldrond may be called to the big leagues this weekend.

"They have to make some decisions about Sunday. They need to figure out who's going to start, and Les is a candidate," Quade said.

Jerome is another candidate to be called up.

Thanks for summing up Donnie's night. I went to the local Savon/Osco/CVS Pharmacy for what was a 5-minute trip while Daytona was batting...and came back 4 innings later.

Daytona is now up 2-1 after 7. The 9 Ks ties Donnie's season-high at Daytona.
