The Phillies are sadly mistaken if they think Shane Victorino is an acceptible starting outfielder.

Said by a fan of a team who thought Todd Hollandsworth was their LF solution last year.

Never said the Cubs weren't idiots too - they seem to be planning on going into next year with a Cedeno-Izturis middle infield

omg, Len and Bob just took a swipe at Neifi and his pitch selection/patience. I love it!

Details plz! I have the volume down. :)

Len: Neifi is currently in the line-up tonite. 0-3 tonite. .

Bob: I wonder how many pitches he has soon.

Len: PRO-ba-bly not very much

Bob: Hah, eh, heh.

Len: Heh, heh.

(pretty close to that, sorry not a direct quotes)

Paraphrasing

Len: Neifi 0 for 3 tonight in his debut for the Tigers

Bob: How many pitches do you think he saw in those at bats

Len: ....not a lot probably

Bob: Laughs

That's not fair... he probably sees a lot of pitches, just not while he's standing in the batter's box

Soriano with another solo shot... We need to get this guy and put him in the 2 hole... Piere,Soriano,Lee,Rameriz,Barret,Jones would be fine with me

why bat him 2nd? his offensive production is absolutely wasted there. his strength is his power. Put Barrett in the 2 hole and bat Soriano 5th-6th.

I don't really see why it matters - nobody on the cubs gets on base, so Soriano will usually have the bases empty whether he bats first or fifth
