I'm guessing it's been a while since Arsenal and Tottenham have been top of the table after five games.

 

I know Tottenham hasn't played anyone (lost to Arsenal in a close game, beat Swansea and beat three of the bottom 5) but it's good to see a start like this with 7 wins in 8 and a 16-1 GD overall. Next weekend's home game against Chelsea will tell a lot more about this team.

This weekend sucked. I've been looking forward to Bale's La Liga debut, Dempsey vs Donovan, Bradley in the Roma derby and all of those didn't happen because of injuries.

Oh yeah. Strootman is a better 8, De Rossi a better 6, Mike is a better 8 than DDR and a better 6 than Strootman so he's first off the bench/injury cover/cup games.

 

Betting odds have Roberto Di Mateo as favorite for Sunderland.

 

Would love to see Bruce Arena or Bob Bradley get an interview but its bad timing for both.
