Bedoya tracks back much faster and with Mexico's attacking strength on the left and Fab playing wrong-sided, it makes sense. He's (Bedoya) been playing RB at Nantes and was their MOTM vs PSG so he's probably the better/more experienced defender.

I guess, I'm just not a huge fan of taking out one of our best 11 for that purpose, especially since we're going with a conservative CM pair in Jones and Backpasserman.

 

In either case though, both are probably destined for major minutes given the heat. Letting Bedoya go sprint his guts out and then letting the game and his fatigue determine when you bring on Zusi isn't a terrible option.
