Arsenal suck. ManU and Reading tied at 3 at the 32nd minute

Arsenal down to 10th, only one spot ahead of Liverpool. There were a ton of dropped points at the top of the table this week as only Tottenham and ManU picked up nine points.

City got five points out of nine.

Chelsea got two points.

Everton got three points.

Arsenal got two points.

West Brom got three points.

West Ham got three points.

Good week for Swansea with wins over Arsenal and West Brom and a tie against Liverpool.

Great to see Tottenham finally get a clean sheet and Clint got another helper on the third goal (nice little through ball to Defoe). Three straight wins moves them up to a tie for third with Chelsea and West Brom. I was hoping for this kind of a run when I saw the schedule. After the Arsenal game on Nov. 17, they only had one game against one of the Big 4 (ManU at White Hart on Jan. 20) until March 2. Hopefully Bale isn't out long and they can keep this up.

3-1 LA. Omar Gonzalez MVP. Full ACL tear in January, returns in July, Galaxy goes from one of the worst teams in the league to Champs again. Incredible turn down largely to Omar. Great young player.

Houston just couldn't match the big 3....Keane and Gonzalez played out of their minds; clearly the best two players on the field.

Kind of, sort of wish Becks had taken the 2nd PK there at the end.

Deserved title....but if they stick with this homefield format next year, how badass would a final with Portland, Seattle or SKC in it be?

Celtic, Juve and Galatasaray claim the final three spots in the knockout stage. Chelsea is out, becoming the first winner to not advance out of the group stage since the tournament expanded to at least four groups in 94-95.

Group winners: PSG, Schalke, Malaga, Borussia, Juve, Bayern, Barcelona, ManU

Runners up: Porto, Arsenal, Milan, Real, Shaktar, Valencia, Celtic, Galatasaray

City knocked out of Europe losing today, Ajax headed to Europa League. I think they can do some damage their.

Lowest point total ever for an English team in the group stage.

Clint with a nice through ball to Adebayor for the first Spurs goal.

Almost a second helper early in the second half but Defoe's shot hit off the inside of the post. He was in position for an easy tap in if the ball bounced a little differently also.

It's probably going in as an own goal but Clint with a solid header that goes off the underside of the bar and then the back of the Panathinaikos goalkeeper before going in.

Holy balls, the Manchester Derby just went ham. United blow a 2-0 lead, and then RvP scores in the 92nd to give them a 3-2 lead, then Ferdinand gets hit in the eye with a coin, THEN some idiot takes a run at the ref from the crowd.
