If Spector really is out, I'm completely baffled.

Pretty obvious to me. If it isn't Spector, it's definitely Bornstein. Bob loves him some JB.

Makes sense. Who wants a guy who's 1st choice at West Ham when we can have some Chivas USA player who isn't even that good of an MLS back.

Like I said, not a DB at left back fan, but otherwise I like Wynne and I love Torres on the left. Love it. I think Spector was the one who held down Bradley's dog while Kenny Cooper f'd it because I can't think of a good reason for an EPL player who can play anywhere on the back line to not make the starting xi.

The only rational explanation is that he wants Spector available to fill in at either CB (if Gooch picks up another yellow) and/or he didn't want to risk him on that crap turf and he's saving him for Saturday.

DMB isn't in our best XI anymore, and I'm not sure why he's considered automatic. Love the Torres start, Sacha K didn't deserve a start based on current form.

This is a pretty ballsy lineup by Bradley. I also like the fact that we have some decent offensive firepower on our bench with Sacha, Freddy and Charlie Davies all available.

Yeah, Sacha has been a no-show since Sweden. Even in MLS, which is crazy because Chivas is having a great year so far and he is by far their best player.

Nagamura has been playing out of his mind for Chivas.

I think Sacha is one of those players who's in-form moments are high, and his out-of-form moments are horrid.

If this formation works, it's going to work incredibly. Some blinding speed on the flanks, great ball winners in the middle and the big three offensive guys up top.

I'm really kind of excited to see how this works. Its about the closest we've seen to our best XI from Bradley.

Actually...yeah, put in Spector and 'Dolo, and that's pretty much our best lineup right now.

Kind of a total football vibe. Beas is a mid and Wynne can play the right wing in MLS at least. Bunch of interchangeable pieces up top.

If they could only now keep the ball on the ground instead of hoofing it out of the back...

I like this a lot. Living in Dallas, the Kenny Cooper thing is really pissing me off. MLS doesn't give a sh about this franchise yet Cooper is stuck here, in MLS, while wanting to be over in Europe like he should be.

Dallas was stupid to build a beautiful park 40 miles away from anything.

Thats actually very untrue. Frisco is a great city, one of the fast growing in the US. Its also right off one of the major highways in Dallas. Plus minutes away from Plano which is probably one of the best and biggest soccer cities in all of Texas.

Why is Costa Rica so pro-America? It's been nothing but a US/Donovan/Bradley love fest about how great we are and how respectful we are. Now they're all cheering like crazy for our anthem? Not used to that.

Obama?

Just kidding, I think it was Sam's Army during the anthem

I love that MB looks like he's going to murder people every game

Did you see this?

http://theoriginalwinger.com/2009-05-29-post-match-locker-room-interview-with-michael-bradley

It said it was removed

Oh. After the game BM officially avoided relegation, Bradley was interviewed in the locker room. He got MOTM and one of his teammates gave him the shaving cream in the towel trick and Bradley told him to [expletive] off and chased after him. It seemed good-natured and at the same time like he was pissed.

Ok, JFT looks bad, but at least we seemed to have remembered how to pass

I'd love to see him play more, because I'm not convinced he's international class. Not with guys like Feilhaber, Sacha and Adu challenging for similar roles. At least they've had their moments where you know they are capable of it.
