Dirk Kuyt with a late goal as Liverpool beat Man United 2-1 in the FA Cup. So, a week after being dominated by Bolton, Liverpool knocks Man City out of the Carling Cup and Man United out of the FA Cup in a four-day span.

Some fan in the Everton-ManCity game just handcuffed himself to the goalpost.

I've never seen this before.

To Timmy's post?

No the opposite one. This is hilarious. I think its a Toffee fan pulling some sort of protest.

Everton beats City while ManU wins as the two Manchester teams are tied at the top. Tottenham also won and they're only five points back.

I like how some players are in there trying to talk sense into the guy or something not sure what they thought they were going to do.

-Bob and wife marching in the protest today was a ballsy move. That family is tough as nails

-Clint is the best player in CONCACAF.

Mix Diskerud to Gent. Looking forward to this.

It's a loan agreement with Stabaek, with an option for a permanent transfer.

BTW, I watched part of the pc, and that guy doesn't "sound" very American

I'll keep you posted on how he does over here.

His mom is American, from AZ. I see big things for him, actually. I see in him some of the same stuff I saw in Clint back in 2005-creative, willing to take on defenders. The difference is that Mix's technical skill is far better than Clint's was at the same stage.

He's also pretty witty. He posts in his own thread on BigSoccer, and he's a pretty cool guy from all accounts.

OT, but what the hell happened to Fernando Torres? He had a great look straight on goal from the top of the "D", on the dribble, and his shot went about 20 yards wide. He looks worse than a rec league player.

I was just kidding.

Actually, with Gent, his Norwegian will be more useful as they currently have a Norwegian head coach (who plays a system that will suit his technical skills quite well)

"Absolute cracker." Chelsea opens a 3-0 lead on Man U; Man U scores three straight to steal a point.

Great game. A tie was the result I was hoping for also.

It's difficult for me to root for a Man U win, but I would have preferred them winning. At least Chelsea didn't. Should be a pretty fun race for fourth.

Winning the sport's biggest prize, getting married and having a kid within a year made him soft. I think the only thing that could save his game at this point is a move back to Spain.
