Jozy's twitter said his first match would be against Chelsea, and that a formal annoucement would be made tomorrow. At the same time Hull have annouced they will have a press conference tom to announce two new signings.

Liverpool bought Aquilani to Replace Alonso. 18 million pounds. With 12,000,000 left to sign someone else, I think this has turned out well for Liverpool. If they lose Mascherano, however, they are in trouble.

Pretty sweet stadium for Hull, not familiar with KC Stadium.

I dont think Mascherano is going anywhere. I really like Aquilani and if he can stay healthy I think he can be very good. Alonso was really good last year, but they got a really good price for him and hopefully they can use that money on Aquilani and someone else. There has been talk of Silva and Villa. I dont think either of those will happen, but they have been linked to Defour of Standard Liege, and I think he is going to be a very good player so I would not be upset with him.

Leo Messi is really really good.

I forgot that was on.

You left out about 2-3 more really's. It's impossible not to like the guy, he looks like the nicest guy in soccer. Seattle hasn't played all that bad, should have scored at least one by now.

It's been reported that Standard is asking 20 million euro for Steven Dufour - he was rumored to be Real's back-up plan if they didn't get Alonso.

I' m tres excited about Jozy going to Hull. Admittedly, their fans have a somewhat patchy reputation (not quite so bad since they left Boothferry Park) but its the kind of team I expect him to do well at.

Would have preferred Fulham, though.

The KC Stadium is quite a nice ground from what I know (Huddersfield haven't played Hull for 3/4 years now) but I wouldn't recommend the city/area.

Huntelaar to Milan, according to reports.

Milan would pay 15 million, a lot less than the 27 million Real payed to get him last December.

At eight goals in 19 games for them, you can do the math. :-))

ESPN Buys Premier League Rights

They are showing two games a week. Similar to their La Liga set up. They appear to have purchased a portion of Setanta Ireland's package as evidenced by the fact that they first game they are showing is Chelsea v the Hull Altidores which was originally a Setanta game.

This is huge.

Wow. Hopefully Altidore is ready on the 15th.

Also from the link:

DirecTV sets up mun2

For those of you with DirecTV who were wondering how you would be able to watch USA-Mexico next week, the satellite company has taken the guesswork out of the process by moving mun2 to channel 203 a week before the World Cup qualifier.

Telemundo is offering mun2 for free to all cable and satellite providers on Aug. 12 in order to give as many fans access to the USA-Mexico match as possible. DirecTV took the step move the network well in advance so subscribers would be able to find the channel without a problem.

I was coming here just for this :-). I'm curious to who is going to be doing the broadcasting.

I'm sure they'll use the Setanta feed.

Everyone read that if they are into the USMNT.
