btw.... are Boone & Erickson still doing morning drive on WCCO ?

I have no idea, I'm a MPR guy. did you go to the "U"? I spent 7 years there, Master of Architecture. I just bought myself a "M" hitch cover today. my wife was laughing at me, but I told her I spent enough $$ there that I had better start taking pride in that school....

No.... actually the time I spent in Minneapolis was really all "commuting" time. I was only there M-F, and on weekends, I'd go home. First to Madison, WI.... then we moved back to Chicago. I stayed at the MN chapter of my college fraternity for a few months.... but as soon as the weather warmed up, that was really not good for my blood pressure, eh?

God can we just fast forward until Hendry and Baker are gone. This is just terrible.

I missed the game (fortunately) but learned everything I needed to know after seeing our best hitter tonight taken out in the sixth inning for a double switch....D'oh!

Who was that? We only had one player double switched for-and that was in the bottom of the eighth, and he is not our best hitter (he was tonight, but not usually)-and his spot didn't come up in the order in the 9th anyway, so that basically meant nothing at all.

BTW-I had no understanding of why that double switch was made-I can understand some of Dusty's double switches, but the team was down 4 runs in the 8th. To score 4, we would have had to go deep in the order anyway, and to score those runs we'd probably have to get to Murton's spot. So, in this game, it was far more likely we'd need Murton in the 9th than Howry to pitch an extra inning in the 9th-we should have just pinch-hit Pagan to start off the 9th. Oh well, I guess it really hurts the brain to try to understand some of Dusty's decisions-this one ended up making absolutely zero difference on the game, but it could have-that's the problem.

How is Murton the best hitter on this team? Barrett, Ramirez and Jones are clearly better (with Murton & Jones being somewhat close)

See bold.....I think he was referring to the really good night Murton was having before our moronic manager had to get overly involved.
