dusty's so gonna blame this one on young starting pitching, completely ignoring the fact that the offense was terrible.

 

2 runs is a crooked number. With Izturis, Perez, and Pierre providing stellar up-the-middle defense, 2 runs is enough that the pitcher can make a mistake to one guy and still win the game.

 

Marmol should have made them hit more balls on the ground to the middle of the field. I blame Barrett, too, for not calling a good game that would have facilitated him doing so.

It's no set time, as far as I know it's about 30 minutes after game 1 ended.

Pat & Ron are good, but I think for that game WGN should have spot-started Diane Rehm in the broadcast booth.

The Cubs are 5-16 against the NL west now.

 

And 10-3 against the Cards, the ONLY opponent the Cubs seems to want to play this year.

 

Maybe Dusty should had focus a little less on trying to beat the Cards, and a little more time on playing actually good baseball, then the Cubs wouldn't be battling the Pirates and the Royals for the worst record.

 

Give that man the Worst Manager of the Year award.
